Policy & delisting
Draft policy. Wording will be finalised before the zones go live.
01Listing windows
- fresh: an address new in the last 24 hours.
- spam: an address new in the last 7 days.
- repeat: an address seen more than once in the last 28 days.
- ms: a Microsoft cross-tenant ID, listed for 7 days.
Listings expire on their own when the window passes. There is no manual cleaning step.
02Usage
- Free for reasonable volumes. Run a local caching resolver rather than querying directly from every client.
- Very high-volume or commercial mirrors need a data feed arrangement.
- Public open resolvers (for example large public DNS services) may be refused.
03Delisting
- Step 1Confirm the listing
Look up the address in each zone and note which ones list it.
- Step 2Fix the cause
Close open relays, clean compromised accounts, or correct the sending setup.
- Step 3Wait or ask
Entries age out automatically. For earlier removal, contact the operator with the address and what changed. Contact address to be added.
